About Us

Mental Health and Performance

Set Point Psychology delivers expert clinical psychology services within elite sport and high-performance environments. We collaborate with organisations to promote mental health, wellbeing, and optimal performance across all levels of the system. In addition, we provide external clinical psychology support to both young people and adults on a referral basis, with a specialist focus on mental health and wellbeing in the context of performance-related challenges.

The name Set Point reflects a crucial moment in sport where pressure peaks and mental clarity is essential. We believe that sustainable, high-level performance can only be achieved by prioritising psychological wellbeing. Performance demands can affect mental health, and we are deeply committed to offering evidence-based therapeutic interventions that support both mental health and performance outcomes.

Our team is proud to partner with leading sporting organisations and national governing bodies, including the UK Sports Institute, Premier League football clubs, tennis and cycling. We also support individuals in high-pressure corporate settings, applying the same principles to enhance wellbeing and effectiveness in business performance.

Testimonials

I just wanted to say on behalf of myself and [name] a very big thank you for all the support you've provided over the last few months. I really feel your input has benefited him massively in his performances on the pitch and will no doubt play a positive part in life in general too. The Tool Kit you've provided is an excellent reference which I know he'll continue to use.
