Clinical Sport Psychology
Our team has extensive experience working within elite sport organisations offering clinical psychology support. We work with athletes of all ages and abilities who may be experiencing challenges to their mental health. We believe that wellbeing and performance are intrinsically linked. Common challenges we work with include performance anxiety, coping with pressure, managing injury, return to competition, loss of confidence, transitions, relationship challenges or the impact of events outside of sport. Support can also be commissioned to include the team around an athlete, including coaches, parents, and support teams, acknowledging that those within elite sport are often best supported by those closest to them.
Children and Young People's
Mental Health
We are passionate about supporting young people’s mental health, and understand that creating a trusting and open relationship is vital. Supporting a young person’s mental health often needs a flexible and creative psychological approach and to utilise the support system around them.
Our clinicians work part-time within NHS child mental health services and are delighted to be able to offer assessment and evidence-based therapeutic intervention to young people and children experiencing a variety of mental health difficulties. Common difficulties we work with include, low mood, anxiety, exam stress, OCD, adjustment to a health diagnosis, bereavement, peer challenges, or behavioural concerns. Please get in touch to arrange an initial 15-minute consultation to see if we are best placed to support.
Adult Mental Health
Our mental health can fluctuate throughout our lives, and sometimes having professional support to better understand why we may be struggling, and importantly how we can better support ourselves can be incredibly important. We recognise it can take courage to step into a place of vulnerability and seek support. Supporting you to feel comfortable in our sessions is a priority.
We have offer evidence-based therapeutic support to adults experiencing a variety of mental health challenges, including difficulties with anxiety, low mood, bereavement, sleep, low confidence/self-esteem, and trauma. We have a special interest in anxiety-based concerns related to performance, such as stress/burnout, general anxiety and work-place coaching. Please get in touch to arrange an initial 15-minute consultation to see if we are best
placed to support.
